Today I got to re-meet Dr. Jason Jordan of @empathpsychllc, and let me tell you why I am so relieved to have him in our area:

He’s an out of the box thinker like myself

He is bringing state-of-the art psychiatric treatments to the SBC that we otherwise would probably have had to wait DECADES FOR, honestly

He’s a Doctor’s doctor. “Who cares for the caregivers?” was an actual sentence he said out loud today, and I could’ve hugged him right there

He’s LSUHSC-trained *and* was on faculty there

HE IS SPEARHEADING NON-INVASIVE MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENTS such as NEUROSTAR TMS (brain-tapping) treatments for OCD and depression, KETAMINE for those 18 and older; and keeping an eye on PSILOCYBIN THERAPIES that can be integrated into treatment plans.

I can’t say enough good things about him and his wife, APRN + FNP Karen Jordan!

They welcomed us into their office today so that I could witness NEUROSTAR first hand for one of my special concierge patients

They take self-pay and insurance.

Breathe a sigh of relief. We are building the network of providers that will change the game. One patient at a time
