I can not say enough good things about The Ouii doctor!! From the moment I came here, I truly felt heard and understood for the first time. I NEVER leave feeling full of dread and uncertainty like I always have at previous doctors offices. The entire team is amazing. They’re so kind, fun, and genuinely care about your wellbeing. The energy and vibes are unmatched! I used to feel so anxious when I would go to the doctors office but now I really look forward to my appointments at the Ouii doctor, which says A LOT! Thank y’all for everything you go and helping me navigate my health journey in a way that makes me feel so empowered 💞

Dr. Jaya is one of the only providers I’ve ever met who truly listened and never made me feel dismissed, overly dramatic or crazy. She didn’t suggest playing “medication roulette” like so many others have in the past. Instead, she looked deeper, ordering labs/test and considering unique approaches I had never even heard of before. Not only is it a joy to be a patient here, but I also get to see firsthand as a staff member how much she genuinely cares for each person who walks through the door. She is compassionate, innovative, and dedicated to helping people heal in ways that feel both personal and powerful. She has taken my health into her hands in a way no one else ever has, and I truly believe she cares about the well-being of all of us. This clinic isn’t just a place for appointments—it’s a place where people can feel heard, supported, and cared for.

Dr Jaya definitely helped my mom and calming her dementia! Momma is much less stressed, making my dad less stressed, so I'm less stressed, too!

30% reduction and risk of dementia and diabetes when you initiate estrogen therapy on time!Alzheimer's researchers are focusing on perimenopause, typically occurring in women's early- to mid-40s, as a target for hormone replacement therapy to maintain estrogen levels and possibly protect against dementia decades later. With women developing Alzheimer's at nearly twice the rate of men, emerging research suggests estrogen may play a critical role during the transition to menopause. Lisa Mosconi of Weill Cornell Medicine is leading a $50 million initiative called CARE, analyzing biomarkers from nearly 100 million women. The research gained momentum after the FDA recently lifted its decades-old black-box warning on HRT, potentially enabling broader research into whether hormone therapy offers protection against cognitive decline during what experts call a "critical window of opportunity."

Re-post from @drmayaangelou’s website:

Today, we honor World AIDS Day and recognize HIV/AIDS Awareness Month — a time of remembrance, compassion, and collective strength.

Dr. Maya Angelou reminds us: “Love recognizes no barriers.”

Her words call us to deepen empathy, end stigma, and uplift the communities that have shown courage, resilience, and love throughout the AIDS crisis.

May we remember the lives lost, support those living with HIV/AIDS, and move forward with compassion at the center.
